The Bead Society of Greater New York celebrated its 20th anniversary with a three-day juried exhibit, at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City on June 19-21, 2009. On display were these 55 new works by Bead Society members ranging from beaded jewelry to beaded objects d’art. Also shown were over 200 pieces from previous “World of Beads” exhibits. Each piece, an extraordinary work of art in their own right, is a representation of the excitement, passion, and beauty of this timeless art form. |
