BSGNY'S WORKSHOP RULES OF ETIQUETTE

Workshops start on time – (give or take a few minutes)

However if you are late...
You will need to be patient while the instructor is in the midst of  demonstrating a technique, or getting  the rest of the class started or with  another student. She (or he) will eventually get to you and help you catch up.

Cell Phones
Please turn them off or put on vibrate only or pulse. If you need to take calls, STEP  OUT  OF THE CLASSROOM FOR YOUR CONVERSATIONS. Please be considerate of your classmates.

Talking
PLEASE be considerate, especially while demonstrations and explanations are being given to all or part of the class. Talking at any other time is fine, but please keep the noise level low. Social hour happens at lunchtime.

If you don’t understand something
Ask the instructor, she (or he) will demonstrate the technique again, talk you through it, etc. There is no such  thing as a stupid question – everyone learns at a different pace, and in a different way. Please don’t ask another student, they may not have all the answers (even if they think they do!)

Equal Opportunity Class
The instructor will try her (or his) best to give equal time to all students. Please remember there are other students who need help – even if they are not especially vocal.

Designs and Projects
Designs and Projects that the instructor teaches in class are for personal use only. The Instruction Sheets are not meant for copying  and  distributing to others for your profit. The work and thought that has gone into them are proprietary.

Inappropriate Behavior at Workshops
If anyone continuously disrupts the class during any of our workshops, it will result in that person being barred from participating in future workshops.  A written warning will be sent to any offenders. If disruption occurs following this warning, they will be banned from taking any future BSGNY workshops.
